Welcome to Oak Class 2016-17
We are taught by Miss G Allen. Our teaching assistant is Mrs T Lawson. This is a Key Stage Two class of 32 Year 6 children.
The 2017 SATs will be administered the week beginning the 8th May.

Children should be reading regularly at home. We ask parents to continue to listen to your children read, talk about their books, and sign their reading record at least four times a week. We tell the children often that reading gives them knowledge and knowledge brings power – to influence their lives, get even better jobs, and earn more money. It’s more than that though – reading also brings huge amounts of pleasure. Please encourage them to read as much and as widely as possible.

Non- Fiction- Information texts
Reading Books: Children are provided with a reading book and reading record. Please encourage your child to read a little each night and please sign in their reading record. Please keep in the plastic bag we have provided. Further/replacement bags 50p each. Reading Records are checked throughout the week and children change their books when required.
Spellings: Will be given out on Mondays to learn for their spelling test the following week.
Games/PE Lessons are on Mondays, children will need indoor kit (shorts and t- shirt) and outdoor kit including trainers to change into.
